Black was the Night

Last week, P and I attended the annual fund-raising dinner for the Pregnancy Care Center. It was a beautiful evening, filled with great company, thought-provoking talks, and good food. The PCC is a non-profit organization that works to prevent abortions by providing emotional, financial, and medical assistance where needed. They touch so many lives, some even before they begin to bloom. In today's world of "Pro-Choice", the work that they do is truly one of a kind.

On an aside, last year when we attended this dinner, our Katie girl was just a gleam in our eyes. Today she is a smiling five-month old who is our heartbeat. There is so much to be thankful to the LORD for.

Have a wonderful week ahead, and thank you for reading!

  1. Looking so chic in black...and I love your coat...could black speak so much?! The lace details make it look so rich and classy! and the clutch blends in so elegantly with the look! Oh and I love your write-up too - such a beautiful note to our Creator - the LORD bless your heart, Katie, & P!

  3. Black suits you very well... You look stunning in this black beautie... Is there any other color clutch, you think might go well with a dark black jacket?

    1. Thanks Shiny! Almost all colors work great with black - red and gold are some classic and safe choices. Black and brown may be a bit harder to pull off, but if done right, it can look amazing! :)
